Pan Handlers are very easy to use. Wastewater is drained into the portable tank of the Pan Handler. Pan Handler Additive (a settling agent) is added. The wastewater is left to settle 4-8 hours, overnight is best. Then the liquid is pumped into the stationary tank through a 5 micron string filter and out the drain. The remaining solids are pumped into the stationary tank and into a cloth filter. The bag is left to dry and then tied and disposed of with the solid waste.

The Pan Handler can also be used to manage the disposal of alloy in reclaim water with the use of CadCon wastewater additive. Additional portable tanks are available for high volume labs.
