ASTA Handling System
Fully Automated Taping System
This is a fully automated system to apply protective tape to semi-finished lenses. Job trays are conveyed automatically via a conveyor belt. Robotics pick-up the lenses and place them in the ASTA to be taped and puts them back in the tray when it is finished. Existing ASTA units can be modified to work in this system.
