With the ever increasing number of lenses that require backside spin coatings and/or anti-reflective treatments, we are once again using surface saver tape. This is true for labs utilizing alloy blocking systems as well as those working with non-alloy mediums. PSI offers two tape dispensers to make taping easy, a manual dispenser and the Automatic Surface Tape Applicator (ASTA).
